Moritz SallaTactile Typography

What if design could adapt to its viewer? My ongoing research into interactive typography looks into intellgent user interfaces.

Using machine learning, we can create complex interactions that we previously had to guess, and painstakingly hard-code. This experiment manipulates variable fonts using real-time skeletal tracking. It uses Posenet for this, maps the values and controls the variable font feature settings. GT Flexa by Grilli Type.

The following experiment looks into how layout and composition can be manipulated by skeletal tracking. Losely inspired by the examples of “Generative Design,” by Benedikt Groß, Joey Lee, and others.
